So, what’s most important in your life? You can probably rattle off the answers to that question rather quickly and with assurance. But, do you actually keep your priorities in there proper order? For example, it’s easy to say that your top priorities are, in this order, your family, your health, your spiritual or religious beliefs, your career, etc. But, how often do you neglect your health by eating poorly or drinking too much just to satisfy your immediate desires or work too much and neglect your family?
No one can tell you what your priorities should be. This post is just a reminder that whatever your priorities, remember them always and keep them in check, ought you risk going against what you know to be right, which will result in unhappiness. All we need to do is to keep our priorities in order, although that is certainly easier said than done.
Saying that something or someone is a priority is much different than acting as though they are a priority. So, if you find your acting in a way that contradicts your beliefs pertaining to your priorities, immediately rectify the situation. Simple as that
