I've always subscribed to the catch it alive, never kill it pest removal method. I'm not squeamish about killing things, I just think it's totally barbaric to kill something as a first response that is 1) more scared of you than you are of it, 2) no match for a human in the bio-mass department 3) not hurting anyone or anything, but just happens to be in the position of being percieved as a nuisance.
